Northwest Regional Airport Apron
I worked with PVL on a project retrofitting two three storey apartment buildings containing 44 suites. The retrofit involved stripping the buildings down to the framing and completely refinishing. PVL came to this project at a difficult time after it had been abandoned part way through and left in disarray. By being well organized and efficient PVL was able to get the project moving again for a reasonable cost and within a fairly short time frame.
Client: Northwest Regional Airport
Consultant: Tetra Tech EBA Inc.
Project: The goal of this project was to add a third apron at the Northwest Regional Airport. As the general contractor we were responsible for the entire project including surveying and layout, cutting and removing the existing asphalt tarmac, preparing the new base, pouring the apron, tying the apron into the surrounding tarmac, and sealing the apron. For the entire duration, active operations at the airport were maintained meaning that high security requirements were met and strict scheduling was necessary to ensure arriving and departing aircraft were not impacted.
